In their last trip together before the father loses his custody, a Chinese teenager and her father find themselves trapped in a chaotic travel group in South West U.S.A, where the appearance of a solo traveler shatters their tense relationships.

Shot on location in California, Nevada, and Arizona, Suntanned Orange takes a year to make. After long distant communications from our Boston campus for months, we shot the film in 100 degrees plus weather, with a crew of only seven people — less amount than the cast on screen.
